  New Hypotheseses on Pathogenesis of Depression in Parkinson?s Disease

  Objectives: This study’s primary goal is to review the most recent data that has been published in the medical literature about the pathophysiology of depression in Parkinson’s disease. Methods: To discover papers pertaining to new information on the pathophysiology of depression in Parkinson’s disease, a thorough search of the medical literature was conducted using the databases PubMed/ MEDLINE, Scopus, and Embase. We used PRISMA standards to search the medical literature between January 1, 2000, and January 31, 2026.
