  New Proposal of Therapeutic Drug for Depression in Parkinson’s Disease

  Objectives: The main aim of this study is to discuss the latest information released into the medical literature regarding novel drug therapy of depression in Parkinson’s disease. Methods: A wide search of the medical literature of the following databases, PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, and Embase, was performed to find articles related to novel information on the pathogenesis of depression in PD. From 01 January 2000 to 31 January 2026, we searched the medical literature following PRISMA guidelines.
