Radiological imaging evaluation of the complications after hip arthroplasty

Abstract

Methods to evaluate complications after total hip replacements (THR) have been rapidly developing. This poster aims to provide a brief overview of the various modalities that are employed to evaluate hip arthroplasty complications, including their limitations. When it comes to investigations for bone and joints, radiograph can be considered as the first modality to be performed for any patient with a THR and can detect a majority of complications.
