Aims and Scope

The Journal of Fundamentals of Renewable Energy and Applications (JFREA) welcomes the original/applied research papers, reviews, case studies, transfer of technology, technology developers, not previously published in any form, in the area of renewable energy sources from scientists, engineers, professionals, manufacturers, planners, managers, users, and so forth, across the global community. The main objective is to disseminate the knowledge among the people on the planet Earth about how to harness renewable energy to meet their own daily requirement to mitigate CO2 for sustainable environment/climate change. Furthermore, the journal is dedicated to provide a platform in multidisciplinary area of renewable energy technology for discussion of issues arising globally for clean sustainable environment/climate. All submitted manuscript will be peer reviewed by eminent researchers in the respective areas before publication in the journal to assure originality, accuracy and long-term impact in the society.

High quality of original/applied research papers are solicited from scientists, engineers, professionals, manufacturers, users, and so forth, in the following areas:

  • Solar Radiation
  • Solar Energy (thermal and electrical)
  • Wind and Hydro
  • Tidal and Oceanic Waves
  • Biomass and Bio-fuels
  • Hydrogen and Bio-diesel
  • Geothermal
  • Clean Energy
  • Hybrid Renewable Systems
  • Life Cycle Energy and Cost Assessment
  • Energy and Exergy Analysis
  • CO2 Mitigation, Credit and Capture
  • Renewable Energy Storage
  • Decentralized Renewable Energy Technologies
  • Energy, Ecology and Environment
  • Energy, Environment and climate change
  • Solid and liquid waste management
  • Applications of Renewable Energy Technologies in Field Condition

The journal will also fulfill the following objectives:

  • To assist public and government authorities in preparation of regulation for planner and manager
  • To arrange education, training programs, meetings, exhibitions and workshops, and so forth, for awareness among global community
  • To promote renewable technologies globally
  • Adaptation and up-gradation of renewable technologies to suit local conditions
  • To establish network with major international institutions and non-government organizations (NGOs)
  • To act as a resource center for generating, collecting, attiring and disseminating information to potential users in urban and rural areas
