The Journal of Advanced Chemical Engineering (JACE) publishes articles emphasizing on four main disciplines of chemical engineering which includes reaction engineering, advanced materials, biochemistry and energy & environment. Articles focusing on engineering and technology perspectives as well as incorporating sustainability and environment-friendly approach in their works are particularly preferred. Besides, articles emphasizing novel and ‘green’ technologies within the fields of chemical engineering are also welcome. The journal invites contribution in the form of original research, review articles (technical and nontechnical), short communication, and case studies.

The journal aims to provide an international platform for experts and specialists in their own fields to present their research works, technical and nontechnical reviews, and discussion on new trend in related fields for the advancement of chemical engineering and technology. In addition, the journal also serves to disseminate latest knowledge and information in all relevant areas for rapid communication among the audience comprising of researchers, engineers, and students working in research and development (R&D) or practical application in the industries.

Reaction engineering section presents articles which include topics such as (but not limited to) reaction kinetics, design and optimization of reactors, fluids mechanics, reactor technologies, and catalysis engineering. Emerging and novel technologies including membrane reactors and photocatalytic reactors are mostly welcome. For advanced materials, articles emphasizing state-of-the-art technologies to produce valuable materials including carbon nanotubes, photocatalyst, membrane, and biosensor are particularly welcome for submission.

Biochemistry section comprises articles which address the topics of biological waste, biomass, biotechnology, and bioenergy in terms of engineering and technology. Promising new technologies which produce environment-friendly biomaterials that address the issue of sustainability are given utmost priority in the journal. Moreover, energy and environment section presents articles dealing with latest technologies to produce renewable and sustainable source of energy as well as mitigating environmental pollution. Articles should emphasize the sustainability and ‘green’ perspectives of the technology to address the issues of energy security and environment conservation.
